Class 5

Dinghy types in Class 5 are those with a Portsmouth Yardstick of 1265 or above.  In reality this includes the Mirror, Gull, Cadet, Torch, Comet, Tideway, Heron, Sailfish etc.  Toppers and Scows have their own Class fleets in CSC but it has been agreed that, until further notice, Toppers can race in Class 5 on Saturday and Evening Series races only, if they wish.  The Mirror is the most popular racing and leisure dinghy in the Class whether single handed or crewed.  For further information on Class 5 please contact Owen Kerr  via Christchurch Sailing Club, or by email belo
