Last weekend saw the last of the Finn UK Travellers Trophy 2018 come to an end at Warsash S C., in very wet, windy and cold conditions. Our sailors however, were there in force and after 7 events on the circuit Jack Arnell was the top C S C sailor finishing 7th Overall. Ray New was 10th overall as well as the first "Legend."(70+) Richard Phillips was 13th and Peter Blick was 15th. Richard was the first Great Grand Master (60-69). Finally C S C were the best placed club overall. Well done to all for you efforts in testing conditions.

After attending a number of qualifying events Francesca New has been selected for the RYA Zone Squad for this winter. She is really excited about this opportunity and is looking forward to training hard this winter and joining in our club racing this winter to get as much practise as possible………..Go Go Go…Fran !!!

We have the last of the Autumn Series Racing this weekend, early start on Saturday at 9.00 and 10.00 Sunday

You may have seen the poster around the club for the Supper and Prize Giving for the Interclub Series which we are hosting this year. We already have to date 20+ booked in for the supper from Highcliffe, Mudeford and Hengisbury Head Sailing Clubs. Please add you names to the Supper list, so we can show them what good hosts we are, and to make this a really good event, and to support our guests a week on Friday.

At Tuesday's Scow AGM Shaun Harris was voted in as their new Class Captain with Ian Wright as his Deputy.

A reminder to all Class 4 Sailors. Your AGM will be held this Saturday at 11.00 after the last Morning Autumn Series Race.

Drew Barnes is off to Weymouth this weekend to continue his quest to be picked for the Youth Worlds in his Laser. He is very much on track, and I will be giving a more in depth report next week…………….We all wish him every success at Weymouth

If there is anyone who still has their Dinghy on the Hard that has not got Winter Storage may I ask you to remove it immediately….Thank you in anticipation
