1989 Jeanneau Tonic 23 lifting/drop keel

£8500.00

Where? Christchurch

Jeanneau Tonic 23 is a fast and light drop keel cruiser. Comes with shoal draft capability for crawling up creeks where others cannot go.
This is a lovely example which has been cherished over the years, and comes with stacks of documentation and equipment. She features a good suit of sails, and presents overall in good order. Fast, fun, surprising roomy for cruising – a winning formula. A combination of very high sailing performance for her size, and accommodation for up to four. Sailing very much like a dinghy and can easily being handled by a couple or even single handed. This particular boat has been enjoyed as a day sailor, only moored in deep water and over the last 5 years in a fresh water river and over the winter ashore and has been well looked after. Perfect for a sailing family looking for a bit more comfort and versatility than a dinghy, or for anyone who would like an easy to maintain boat that’s fun and fast to sail. This particular example benefits from recently replaced drop keel with stainless steel, a high thrust Yamaha 9.9 hp outboard that delivers enough power to go against strong tidal streams. The nippy little yacht is ready to go, last antifouled in 2023 – just add water!

  • Boat comes with 3 different sails
  • 9.9hp high thrust Yamaha outboard engine (serviced) 2022
  • Tender also available, sold separately (£395)
