I am certainly looking forward to the Prize Giving this Saturday at the Queens Hotel, for Class 4, Class 5, Cruiser Class and the Ladies Class. It will be a time to celebrate our fantastic year of good weather and sailing. Richard Phillips, who is responsible for creating our "Club2 Class results," will provide film of this year's events on the Hotel's screen for our added entertainment.

The weather was much kinder last weekend, which resulted in a good turnout of all classes in the harbour and river sailing for the Scows. Shaun Harris the Scow class captain swept the course prior to Saturday's racing in the river and found only a few link lines still attached. They were dealt with. Rory Barnes with the help of Richard Beasley organized a two day course

The CSC Juniors are all enjoying their winter training at Spinnaker Sailing Club. They are William Foy, Finley Leigh Anderson, Sean Williams, George Hayles, Lyla Bryan-Brown, Didi Bryan-Brown and Max Rayner. The feedback is they are learning a lot about all aspects of sailing and looking forward to the next session. Last Weekend was marred by the strong winds, however, many braved the conditions in all classes although numbers were low.
