    On The Water ............ The Sonata Open saw 5 boats competing in close racing and moderate to stiff winds, with a total of 10 races it was an energetic weekend for all competitors.     On The Water What an amazing bank holiday weekend on the water in so many ways! Every type of sailing from CSC- in summary…. The Scow fleet had well attended pursuit races in the harbour. A huge cruiser fleet visited Redclyffe Yacht Club followed on Sunday by a picnic and games ashore from anchorages off Brownsea Island.     On The Water Saturday saw another very breezy morning gusting 28mph at times, for the Ladies Cup (mixed fleet open to all as originally presented by the ladies) and the Over 60's Cup. More than half the fleet eligible for the latter.     ON THE WATER............ It's all about the Finns! Over the weekend our clubs Finn sailors have been doing battle at the Finn Nationals in Brixham. All together 46 competitors took part from around the Country and CSC were by far the best represented club with 10 competitors – that's over a fifth of the racing fleet!     ON THE WATER............ As you may know the Round the Island Race (ROI) took place over the weekend in what turned out to be somewhat light conditions. 6 CSC yachts took part but with fickle winds, only Andy Rushworth in 'Marmite' managed to complete the race with a time of 13:47 – leaving just 13 minutes before the cut off time.
