The Women's Euro final 2022
The Women's Euro final 2022 will be played on Sunday 31st of July Viewing from 4pm and Kick Off at 5pm. It will be the Lionesses' first appearance in a final since Euro 2009 - and, if they win, their first ever major trophy. Round the Island Race 2022
What a fantastic Round the Island Race this year for Christchurch Sailing Club. Our Commodore Bridget is immensely proud that a CSC boat with limited crew was leading the entire fleet for a majority of the RIOW Equally proud that Rover won the IOR Minitonner class and so many other club members & boats were participating in somewhat challenging conditions. Bottom Towed Fishing Gear Consultation CSC is represented on the Studland Bay Marine Partership and has been informed of a consultation concerning the Southern IFCA byelaw consultation that affects Studland Bay in respect of Fishing Areas and the Prohibition of Bottom towed Gear. 2022 British Finn Nationals
2022 British Finn Nationals Andy Denison, Alex Atkins. Russell New, Simon Philbrook, Peter Blick and Simon Percival represented CSC at the Weymouth and Portland Sailing Academy for the 2022 British Finn National championship over the weekend The conditions were certainly mixed throughout the three days ranging from light breeze to 30 knots and lighting to finish the event ! Scow News...... The Bank Holiday weekend saw plenty of scow sailing with ten boats out for the first spring series race on Saturday. This was won by Paul Mecklenburgh in "Captain Beaky".
