On The Water Saturday saw another very breezy morning gusting 28mph at times, for the Ladies Cup (mixed fleet open to all as originally presented by the ladies) and the Over 60's Cup. More than half the fleet eligible for the latter. The course was cleverly set to ensure all sailors could be seen at all times by the committee boat and escort team for safety- huge thank you to all that

ON THE WATER............ As you may know the Round the Island Race (ROI) took place over the weekend in what turned out to be somewhat light conditions. 6 CSC yachts took part but with fickle winds, only Andy Rushworth in 'Marmite' managed to complete the race with a time of 13:47 – leaving just 13 minutes before the cut off time. A big well done to him

Bank holiday Monday evening, with a depleted fleet due to the hour and a stiff breeze, the Stuart Percival Cup was sailed for by 3 boats. Owing to mysterious problems
