To all our Christchurch Bay & Harbour Stakeholders
Many thanks to everyone who has contributed to our developing Christchurch Bay & Harbour Strategy so far. We have used your feedback together with research and technical data to identify a long list of measures to ensure our coastal communities are more resilient to coastal flooding and erosion over the next 100 years.
The long list has been appraised and we are now sharing a proposed short list of flood and erosion risk management measures for the strategy frontage. It stretches immediately east of Hengistbury Head Long Groyne to Hurst Spit, encompassing Christchurch Harbour.
