Lymington Rally

13th - 15 September 2019

Lymington Rally September 13-15 2019

Hello cruiser ralliers and welcome to our first rally as organisers.

We have booked Dan Bran Pontoon in Lymington Harbour for two nights, Friday September 13 and Saturday September 14 2019.

We will plan the usual pontoon party for Friday evening and dinner on Saturday at The Mayflower, King's Saltern Road, which is the closest venue, where we have reserved dining space. If you would like to check out the menu themayflowerlymington.co.uk The Manager of the Mayflower is currently away, but his deputy will confirm shortly whether we will choose from a limited or the main menu.

Considering the weather at that time of year, hopefully fantastic, but if not suitable for a swim in the lido, you could enjoy an art exhibition at St Barbe Museum. Exhibiting the McDowall collection of Neo-Romantic Art which flourished from the 1920s to the 50s the museum is privileged to enjoy this treat. The museum also houses a fascinating collection of fossils from our coastline and many interesting exhibits. Light lunches and snacks are served in the café and as part of National Heritage Weekend there is no entry cost saving ourselves £6.00 per head!!!The museum is situated behind Boots off the High Street, more information at stbarbe-museum.org.uk It is accessible by foot, however if you would like to take a cab to the museum the local taxi company will arrange transport for you, Lymington Taxis 01590 688888.

Some of us are planning to leave Lymington on Sunday and sail up to Southampton for the last day of the Boat Show on Monday 15th.Let us know if you are interested in joining us?
