RYA Level 2 Powerboat Course

This is a comprehensive two day course providing the skills and background knowledge needed to drive a powerboat safely in tidal waters. It forms the basis of the International Certificate of Competence. Training will take place in a choice of planing or displacement craft and will cover tuition on collision avoidance, boat handling and navigation theory. This course is suitable for people with some knowledge of boating and previous experience in driving small powerboats. The minimum age for applicants is 16.
