FREE YACHT MASTER SEMINARS AT CSC!
A series of free Yacht Master Seminars, open to all members, will be held in the Training Room over the Winter. Ricci Cobelli will present each topic with the aim of learning from each others knowledge and experience in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Booking is not required for the first event, but this may be reviewed if necessary.
Seminars will run from 7pm to 9pm on the evenings of:
Tuesday 10 December – Passage Planning
- The legalities. A review of electronic aids for navigation and planning. The paperless nav desk?
- Boat preparation, night pilotage, seamanship considerations, navigation techniques at night, identifying lights.
