Yarmouth Shake Down Rally - Cancelled

9th - 13 April 2020

This is to invite you to book for the first rally of the season, the Yarmouth Shake Down, between Thursday 9 April and Monday 13 April. Tides are favourable for a morning sail on the Thursday or Friday and with slack at Hurst about 15:30 on Monday afternoon. Let's hope once again we have the wall to wall sunshine and warmth we had last Easter.

Weather permitting, everyone is invited to bring a BBQ or picnic to the Green at Yarmouth (behind the Sailing Club) on the Friday afternoon. We have booked a meal at La Cucina for 19:30 on the Saturday evening. Here is their website: https://cucinaiow.co.uk/ They are in the process of updating their menus but you will get the idea of the fayre on offer. And on Sunday those who feel up to it are welcome to wander down the Yar for lunch at the Red Lion.

Welcome to the CSC Cruiser Rally Programme.

CSC is renowned as one of the most active rallying clubs on the South Coast. Rallies vary in size from 15 boats up to 50 at the final Yarmouth Rally. We put on about 10-11 rallies each season at a variety of venues within easy reach of Christchurch, as well as somewhere in France for Bastille Day on 14 July. The rally co-ordinators are Martin and Hills Dancey. The rallies themselves are organised by a number of volunteers. Rallies typically include pontoon parties, a meal or BBQ and other social activities. Rallies are a great way to meet club members and make new friends. You can take part in as few or as many as you like. We always welcome new ralliers. If you would like to find out more do not hesitate to contact Martin or Hills or any of the organisers.

Booking for rallies is through the Club's SCM system.
