Pirates

The Christchurch Sailing Club Junior Squad Pirates are a group of young sailors age between 5-13 who are keen to get out on the water and get up to some pirate mischief!

Pirates sessions are run on every other Friday night throughout the summer season and concentrate on providing a fun, safe environment for the very young sailors of the Club to have fun on the water.

Each year there is a Pirates' Week which is held during the school summer holidays. This week is used to give the Pirates more fun on the water along with some gentle instruction to give each Pirate new sailing skills with which to progress.

The Pirates are lead by the CSC Junior Squad Coaching team with the help of the Y-PIGs (Young Person's Instructor Group).
