The actual Crapper challenge & trophy was introduced in 2012 by Lawrence Crapper, for which the two clubs enter teams competing against each other and the winners receive the Challenge Cup.

RYC has won three times but CSC has won 6 times and the good news, we were successful this year. No easy task and our thanks must go to the very competitive CSC team members.

All in all, a great fun evening enjoyed by all participants, despite the lack of water at low tide, which left the boats moored to the pontoon high & dry the following morning, thankfully not too long before the incoming tide reached RYC.
Next year CSC will be hosting RYC.
