CSC Tribute to HRH The Duke of Edinburgh

The Officers and Members of Christchurch Sailing Club

are saddened to hear of the passing of

HRH the Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, our longest serving Royal Consort.

His exemplary naval career and love of sailing brought him much pleasure.

He was a truly great man, a devoted husband and with an immense sense of Duty, Loyalty,

and Honour.

His generosity of time to encourage all people, but particularly the young,

through his numerous charitable interests brought opportunities to many.

He leaves a great personal legacy.

We offer our sincere sympathy and condolences on their loss to

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the wider Royal Family.
