Update

The rig is just off position, will be in place by Monday 8th August. Late starting. Delay due to sea conditions.

We understand the works effectively commence this coming week and will be working 24/7 for approx 2 weeks.

Ground investigation surveys are scheduled to commence on and around the Hengistbury Head Long Groyne, in aid of the future renewal of the structure. The rock groyne is located on the headland between Poole and Christchurch bays.

Investigative boreholes will be executed from the jack-up barge, Sandpiper, positioned in 5 locations immediately beside the groyne. Works are expected to be 24/7 for a period of 2 weeks commencing 18th July 2022, weather permitting. In addition, survey works will be performed using a multicat workboat or similar, currently scheduled to commence 27th June 2022, weather permitting.

Mariners are advised to remain vigilant and navigate with caution when in the vicinity of the works. Pass at a safe distance and speed with minimum wash. DO NOT TRANSIT BELOW OR ATTEMPT TO ACCESS THE SAND PIPERS WORKING PLATFORM.
