"What's Happening on the Water"

The second Icebreaker Series takes place this Saturday, (race 3 and 4.) We have increased the personnel on the Race Officer's launch which will help with the sizable fleet expected. Those who are racing, please make sure you give yourself time to be at the start at 12.00.

Due to a clash of dates the "Dinghy Race Management Seminar" arranged for 27th January is cancelled. The first will be at 10.00 on 24th February, and the second, 24th March. Further dates have been arranged for April, May, June, July and August starting at 19.00. The exact dates and times will be confirmed next week. Please contact the office if you wish to attend the date in February or March.

Last Sunday's Icicle Series run by Highcliffe was somewhat fraught with so many general recalls. However, those who stuck at it seemed to have various stories to tell in the bar. Thanks to Rory and others in our support escorts who towed back our stalwarts.

Please note there are spare places on the "RYA First Aid Course" in the training room with Sally Davidson on Sunday 3rd February. Cost is £65.00 per person, and the course will run from 09.00 to 16.00. If you wish to attend this excellent course, please contact the office.

We need an extra Assistant Escort for this Saturday's Icebreaker Race starting at 12.00 in the Harbour. Please contact the office if you are available. Thank you.
