Thank you to all who came to the Seminar last Saturday morning in the training room. We will be arranging another Race officer and Assistant seminar in the New Year. I am also collecting names for next year from members who wish to learn in practical terms and "Shadow" our race team on the water. To carry this out please email me your name and contact details and I will put you on my "Shadowing" duty list for next year.

For those of you who have carried out duties this year and in recent years, I encourage you to add your names to the Duty list that is displayed in the Clubroom

This weekend is the last of the Winter Series on Saturday & Sunday in the harbour and in the river for the Scows. It's time we had favourable weather so you can get on the water and enjoy an exhilarating sail followed by a pint or two in the club after!

Finally to round off the year, we have the "The Harry Shivers Trophy," this year to be raced on "Boxing Day." The start will be at 11.00 from the club start line, and raced around the buoys of the Avon, Stour and waters around the club. So let's see some support from members on shore. I am Race Officer for the day and the race is open to all dinghies. I will arrange to present the trophies in the club at lunch time after the race.

A good sail will help to digest the excess food and drink over this festive season. See you on the water !!!
